Supply usable artwork
Provide the original vector artwork when available, along with the intended dimensions. Identify whether strokes, filled areas or fine details are essential to the brand. A screenshot may include compression artifacts or unclear edges. Ask for a proof that shows the actual size and placement rather than approving a large screen rendering that hides small-detail limitations.
Review the material result
The same design can look different on bare metal, anodized material or a molded surface. Use a production-equivalent sample to approve the appearance. If exact color is mandatory, state it so the supplier can evaluate a suitable printing or other process. Do not assume a laser-generated mark can reproduce every brand color on every substrate.
Maintain artwork control
Keep a revision or release identifier for the approved logo file. If a brand refresh changes spacing or detail, communicate that change before a reorder. Define which product models use each version. At receipt, compare the marked part with the approved artwork and finish reference, including its orientation on the assembled product.
